The process of making a Handwoven Water Hyacinth Assamese Khorai starts by harvesting the water hyacinth plants from the wetlands. The long stalks of the plant are then dried and separated into thin strips. These strips are then dyed using natural dyes in vibrant colors like red, yellow, green, and blue.
